Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! Last night Simba woke up a couple times during the night. I am hoping he has better night’s sleep tonight.
Our morning started off as usual by Simba refusing to let me get up. Then we went for a walk on the boardwalk. Simba saw his girlfriend Lucy. For those of you who don’t know Lucy is another mini golden doodle puppy that lives on Simba’s floor. We haven’t seen her since I started staying with Simba. I think he really missed her. They were so excited to see each other, and had so much fun playing together.
After our walk, I put Simba’s tracker in the charger. Yes, Jason keeps a tracker on Simba just in case he gets lost. The tracker is connected to Wifi and Jason and I both get a text when Simba leaves and returns to the apartment. The tracking app even tells us who is with Simba (If it’s me or Jason).
We thought the tracker wasn’t charging, and Jason told me to go into the “ready to go” bag to get the spare charger. Thankfully, the charger was working, and it was not necessary to go into the “ready to go” bag.
After work, Simba and I went for our usual after work walk. The temperature outside is starting to get a little chilly, but Simba did not seem to mind. After our walk, I prepared Simba’s dinner. Simba began eating. I had to leave for a music lesson and Simba does not like to eat when he is alone, so he did not finish his dinner.
When I returned I was hoping Simba would continue eating, however he was not interested. I added some more liver treats, but Simba just picked them out. Maybe he will decide to eat more later on.
Simba and Jason got to FaceTime tonight! Well, I should say Jason FaceTimed with Simba, but Simba had no idea Jason was on the phone. Jason was afraid that Simba would miss him too much if he saw or heard him. Jason got to see that Simba was happy, and doing well. I told him that he didn’t have to worry, Simba is in good hands.
I was eating a banana for dessert and Simba got very excited. I consulted the handy dandy notebook, I mean care guide, and saw that bananas are listed as a safe food for dogs. I added some banana to Simba’s dinner however he was more interested in watching me eat the banana than eating it himself. Oh well, I tried.
Now Simba is switching off between chewing on a beef stick, and playing with his mickey toy. Jason would be very proud, I think it is his favorite toy!
Tune in tomorrow for more Simba Sitting Shenanigans!
