Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans!  Last night Simba’s sleep regressed slightly. Simba woke up around 5 am and was barking for a little while.  He was able to fall back asleep, and once again did not want to let me get up for work!  If only Simba would decide to sleep when I am sleeping and wake up when I need to wake up.  Maybe he will learn my schedule by the time I return home. 

This morning we went for a walk and when we got outside, I realized I forgot to bring Simba’s breakfast.  Simba was so excited when he realized he got to have two walks this morning!  Simba once again ate a delicious breakfast of lamb mix-ins.  It is his absolute favorite breakfast! 

Simba returned home, and once again took a nice long nap.  When I checked the cameras, (Yes Jason has cameras to check on Simba) he was either sleeping under the dining room chair, or on the couch.  He looked so cute! 

Simba and I went for a short walk after work and Simba really enjoyed the fresh air.  I prepared Simba’s dinner once again adding some liver treats and Simba ate about half his dinner.  I was a little disappointed that he didn’t eat the whole thing, but I know sometimes he likes to take some breaks and finish later. 

Simba had a big treat tonight.  Simba’s Uncle Daniel came over to visit.  Not only did Daniel come over to play with Simba, but he also brought Simba a special surprise.  Daniel just got back from Disney (Jason decided to stay a little longer) and brought a new toy to bring to Simba.

Simba loved his new Disney Monorail toy! He loved it so much that he didn’t even want to go for a walk.  Simba was running around the apartment playing with his new toy. He knocked over his remaining dinner in the process. He was so happy.  In true Simba fashion, the toy did not last very long.  Within a half hour of receiving his new toy, it was ripped to pieces and in the garbage.  

Daniel and I had to distract Simba and quickly pick up the pieces that were now all over the carpet.  After Simba destroyed his new toy, he was ready to go for a walk with Daniel.  They had a great time!

After Daniel left, Simba decided to steal some papers and add some more confetti to Jason’s carpet.  He also decided to finish his dinner.  That makes two days in a row that he ate all of his dinner!  It also saved me a little bit of cleaning.   Now Simba is relaxing with an antler chew and watching some tv.
