Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans. Last night was another difficult night. Simba and I went to go for a walk, but as soon as we got outside there was an announcement that they were spraying pesticide and we should go back inside immediately. Unfortunately Simba was unable to go for his night time walk.
We came back to the apartment and got ready for bed. Simba had a lot of energy and was not ready to go to sleep. Simba kept walking around, and chewing on the comforter. At one point, Simba crawled under the comforter. According to Jason this is a new behavior he had never seen before. Simba was under the covers and trying to dig. I don’t think he realized that the bed was not made of sand.
Eventually Simba fell asleep, but it didn’t last too long. Simba woke up multiple times during the night. Thankfully, he wasn’t barking. However, he kept stepping on me and waking me up.
This morning Simba and I went for a nice long walk on the boardwalk. It was so cold outside, but Simba did not seem to mind. He made sure to take his time and enjoy his walk. Simba met a new friend on the boardwalk who also likes to play as much as Simba does.
After work, Simba and I went for another walk. Once again it was cold outside but Simba was enjoying himself. We saw one of Simba’s neighbors and Simba was so excited to see them! I swear Simba is so popular. We meet his friends everywhere we go!
I told Jason that I was making some chocolate chip cookies. He was very concerned because Simba could not eat it. I assured him that I have read his care guide multiple times and saw that chocolate was listed as a dangerous food. It was listed as a dangerous food multiple times. I told Jason to stop worrying, Simba is in good hands.
Simba is now relaxing and playing with his empty bowl, and dragon toy while I get ready for Shabbos.
Tune in tomorrow for Simba Sitting Shenanigans: Shabbos Edition!
