Welcome to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! So many of you are invested in my Simba sitting experience, so I decided to start a blog to keep everyone updated.
Today is Jason’s first day of vacation, and my first day staying with Simba. Our time started off normally with a walk after work. Simba is used to these walks since I work so close to where he lives. We had a nice long walk on the boardwalk, and then relaxed on the couch for a little while.
I accidentally pressed a button on the remote and shut off Simba’s relaxation video. Thanks to Simba’s Care Guide that Jason created, I was able to figure out the tv and return it to the correct channel. The table of contents made the process of finding the correct page much easier!
I offered Simba a delicious dinner prepared exactly as directed in his care guide, but Simba didn’t really want to eat. I had to leave Simba for a couple of hours, so he took that as an opportunity to take a nap. Simba was so well behaved, he didn’t even bark when I left!
Upon returning to the apartment, Simba seemed to have just woken up from his nap. Although looking a little tired, Simba came right over to greet me. I took Simba out for another walk but the mean men were outside playing with their remote control cars. Simba started barking and growling at them, so I decided that we should go back inside and try again later.
We returned to the apartment and Simba enjoyed watching me cook dinner. However, he was still not interested in his own dinner. I offered Simba some wet food, but that did not appeal to Simba either. I cut up some cheese and added it to Simba’s dry food, and he happily picked all the cheese out and left the kibble. Hey, what can you say, he knows what he wants to eat!
Simba and I went out for another walk after I ate dinner and he ate some more cheese. It was a beautiful night and Simba enjoyed his walk. Now we are back inside and Simba is playing with his Mickey Mouse stuffed animal (Daddy would be so proud!) and chewing on his beef sticks.
Tune in tomorrow for some more Simba Sitting Shenanigans!
