Take 6: Day 7!

Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! I can’t believe it is already Day 7 and Jason will be home in a few short days!

Last night, when I returned from the Mets game, my father came to the apartment with me. For those of you who do not know my father, he is “allergic” to dogs. His “allergy” is so severe he even “sneezes” when he is in the car and sees a dog across the street. Simba could not understand why my father did not come over to pet him. He sensed that my father was not a dog person and decided to bring out his nasty bark. He continued to bark at him in the hallway and when following my father all the way back to his car.

Simba and I then went for a quick walk and then Simba went over to the car to say hello to my mom. She was very happy to see Simba and he loved the attention. My mom told Simba he wasn’t allowed to lick her face because my father would never allow her back into the house.

We came back upstairs and headed straight to bed. It was late and we were both exhausted! I rolled over and Simba decided the best spot for him to sleep was on top of my legs. However, it was not very comfortable for me. Thankfully, Simba decided to move over a little and I was able to get into a more comfortable position.

This morning was pretty typical. Simba got up before the alarm, wanted me to get out of bed early, ate his breakfast and then rejoined me in bed. Simba watched some TV while I took my shower and then we headed outside for our walk. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and Simba was very cooperative.

We returned inside and Simba wished me a good day at work. He was very excited to get ready for his day of napping.

This afternoon Simba had a special surprise! Seeyon came over to feed and walk Simba. He always loves his time spent with Seeyon.

I know, I have not been around a lot for dinner lately, life has just been a little bit hectic lately! I returned back to the apartment and got such a nice greeting from Simba! We decided to relax and watch Big Brother. Simba was so excited! It has been a few days since we have watched together. He loves watching the show, but is not a fan of commercials. I mean, do you blame him? He really doesn’t like the “Dawn” commercial. He starts barking everytime he sees the cute little ducks in the commercial.

Now Simba is enjoying some belly rubs and is trying to destroy a tennis ball.

Tune in tomorrow for more Simba Sitting Shenanigans!
