Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans!

Last night, Simba and I had a relaxing night cuddling on the couch. Simba was so calm and really enjoyed the head massages I was giving him. We went for a nice walk on the boardwalk and again enjoyed the warmer weather. When we returned inside, we got ready for bed. Simba once again brought his new squeaky toy to bed. I think it is one of his new favorite toys.
Thankfully, Simba was tired so he went right to bed. He didn’t even mind that I left the light on for a little while so that I could read. He slept most of the night but was wide awake around 6:30 am. I tried convincing him to go back to sleep but he was ready to start his day. I turned on the relaxation music for Simba and then got back into bed. Simba decided to come join me for some cuddles. When it was time to get ready for work, Simba did not want to let me get out of bed!
Simba relaxed while I took my shower and then we went for a walk. The weather was so nice outside and we ventured a little further. Simba decided to take a different path. Of course, he had to smell every blade of grass along the way. He also had to do a lot of marking since he doesn’t usually walk that way.
When we returned, I prepared Simba’s breakfast, and then made my lunch (which I just remembered I forgot to eat half of and left it on my desk at work…oops). I was able to get Simba to eat most of his breakfast before I left. When I returned from work I was so happy to see that Simba finished his breakfast while I was gone!
I remembered I still had toys for Simba hidden under the sink. When I went to give Simba what I thought was a hotdog toy, I realized it was actually a hotdog costume! I tried putting it on Simba but all he wanted to do was play with the costume. Eventually after many attempts, I was able to put the costume on for a picture. Then I safely stored it away so Jason can use it another time.
I felt bad for taking away Simba’s “toy” so I gave him a ball from the basket. He is having so much fun playing with it! I hope he doesn’t destroy it like he does to most of his other balls!

Simba is in for a real treat tonight. I am going to my first NBA game and Simba is going to have a playdate with Seeyon! I prepared Simba’s dinner and they will also go for a walk together. I will update everyone on how that goes tomorrow since I will be home very late tonight!
It’s time for today’s rule!
Rule 9 – “Please check in on the cameras at least 3 times a day to ensure he is okay.”
First of all, Jason did you write it as a rhyme on purpose? Second of all, there is no need for me to watch the cameras because Jason spends his entire vacation watching the cameras. Well, with the exception of when I am in the apartment (or so he says). Yesterday, I took Simba for a walk on the boardwalk and he started giving me a play by play of what we were doing. Apparently, the terrace camera (yes he has a camera on his terrace) shows parts of the boardwalk and he was able to watch us there. Warning: be careful what you do on the Far Rockaway boardwalk, because Jason might be watching!
Jason’s coming home tomorrow night so make sure to tune in for the final episode of Simba Sitting Shenanigans: Take 5! The final rule is really very special…
And now for some bloopers:
