Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! Unfortunately, Jason is back home and this is the end of our shenanigans… for now. As the woman at the hotel said to Jason this morning, I’ll see you in a few months.

Last night, Simba was not cooperating when I was trying to put his leash on. I told Simba he is not being a very good listener. We have been working very hard this past week to improve his listening skills, however his daddy is coming home and all our hard work is going to go right out the window.

I was finally able to put Simba’s leash on, and we went for a quick walk. Thankfully Simba understood the assignment and was ready to go back inside fairly quickly. We got ready for bed and once again Simba stole my spot. Of course he growled at me when I tried to move him but eventually I was able to get into bed.

I woke up in the middle of the night and momentarily forgot where I was. I got scared when I felt something furry in bed with me. Then I remembered it was just Simba, but I got scared that he did not move when I pet him. I pet him again and he lifted his head. I then knew he was alive and it was safe to go back to sleep.

This morning, Simba actually let me sleep until my alarm went off. Then he jumped out of bed and demanded his breakfast. I was really tired so I got back into bed for a few minutes and he decided to come join me. He waited patiently while I took my shower and eagerly awaited his morning walk.

Today was cloudy and gloomy but Simba still appreciated the fresh air. We took a little bit of a short walk because I was running late, but he still enjoyed it.

Of course Simba prepared for a long day of napping. He once again got a midday surprise when I had to go back and get my lunch from the apartment.

After work, we finished watching an episode of Big Brother. I had to make sure Simba got to watch one last time before Jason got home. Simba was so happy! We went for a walk and we changed it up from our normal routine which confused Simba at first, but then he seemed to enjoy it. We came back inside and I packed up my suitcase.

We cuddled some more on the couch and then I fed Simba his dinner. Of course, he throughly enjoyed it! Then we headed out on our final walk of this stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay out so long because it started to rain.

We returned to the apartment and said our goodbyes. I told Simba I would see him again really soon. Probably tomorrow morning!

And that’s a wrap on Take 6! Now Simba and his daddy are happily reunited! Of course it was a grand reunion full of tail wagging and licks. Licks from both Simba and Jason… And obviously Jason instantly gave Simba a present from Disney.
