Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans!

Simba was very excited last night because when I returned from the Mets game, he got to see my mom and brother. Well, he also saw my dad and sister, but they were not petting Simba like Josh and my mom were. We took a quick walk and then headed to bed. It was late!

Simba once again slept well last night. He didn’t even bring a toy to bed! I did reposition him because at first he wanted to sleep with his butt in my face and I was not going to participate in that. I’m sure his dad would…

Simba once again wanted to get out of bed earlier than we needed to, so I let him into the living room and then went back to bed. Simba was very happy to rejoin me for some more cuddles.

I fed Simba his breakfast and then took my shower. We then headed out for our morning walk. Thankfully, Simba took care of his business right away and we had time for a leisurely walk. I made it on time for work today!

In the middle of the day, Simba’s friends from DayHab asked if we could take Simba for another walk. I couldn’t say no to them since they had such a good time on Tuesday. Today, two of his friends took turns holding his leash. His friends also enjoyed filling up Simba’s water bowl.

At one point Simba actually got a shower! I taught his friend to press the bottom button on the outdoor shower (the one used to clean feet). Simba loves drinking from the shower. His friend then decided to try out the other buttons, and well, Simba got all wet!

Simba brought his friends back to DayHab and went home to rest. Tonight, Simba got another special visitor. Simba’s grandpa came to feed him dinner and give him a walk! Simba loves spending time with his Grandpa!

Simba went for an evening stroll with Grandpa after thoroughly enjoying his dinner. Three girls came up to them and asked to pet Simba. They asked what his name was when they realized it was Simba, they said “oh we know Simba!” Jason’s dad said “oh, you know my son Jason?” They said “nope, we just know Simba!” That totally tracks. Jason is not really a social butterfly. Simba however is very social! I don’t think Jason even knew any of his neighbors before he got Simba!

Simba also saw his girlfriend Lucy on their walk. He was so happy to see her. We have not seen her all week! They love playing together.

Simba is now relaxing and waiting for me to come back.
