We’re back!!! Did you miss us? It has been 159 days since my last blog post. That’s 45 days longer than summer vacation according to Phinneas and Ferb. For those of you who know Jason well, he loves that show and named his first pet rats Phinneas and Ferb. Jason also yelled at me in the middle of the QC Kosher Caf because I wasn’t paying close enough attention to the show he was forcing me to watch.
Ok, sorry I got a little distracted there for a minute (story of my life). The moment you have all been waiting for! Drum roll please……… Simba and I will be spending the next 8 nights together! You know what that means!…. 9 days of Simba Sitting Shenanigan blogs!
Jason left for Disney World early this morning. Yes, I know, he went to Disney World again, he doesn’t even go to different Disney resorts. At least Disney World has 4 different parks he can alternate going to. We are taking suggestions on exciting features to add to the blog this time around. Jason wanted me to try out something different belonging to Simba every night, for example his food, drinking from water bowl, brushing with his toothpaste. However that was vetoed immediately. I told him he can do a blog on that when he returns…
I had to go to a Bris after work and wasn’t sure what time I would be back so I decided to take Simba for a mid-day walk. Simba was so excited to see me. He was also such a good boy letting me put his leash on without having to go to the elevator. Of course, Simba had to take a toy with him on the walk.
We went to Dayhab and Simba got to take a walk with his Dayhab friends. I really do not know who was more excited, Simba or his friends! We went for a nice long walk on the boardwalk. Who knew it was going to be so hot outside! We kept stopping to make sure that Simba had enough to drink so he did not dehydrate. Simba’s friends loved filling up his portable water bowl. We returned from our walk and Simba took a nice long nap.
When I returned from the Bris, Simba was once again super happy to see me. I put my suitcases in the bedroom and noticed Jason really wanted to make sure I saw the care guide. He put it right next to my towels! (Yes this is the same care guide that he made me read over and over and over and sends me the PDF every time he updates it…which is every month….)

After I put my stuff away, I prepared Simba’s dinner. Simba enjoyed a nice meal of frozen Stella and Chewy lamb bites with his supplements sprinkled delicately on top. Simba no longer eats the kibble he was eating last blog. It was very fattening and Simba was gaining too much weight!
After dinner, we went for a nice sunset walk on the boardwalk. Simba saw some children riding electric cars. I do not know if Simba was afraid of the cars or was trying to play with them but he started using his nasty bark. There was a baby riding on the back of one of the cars and she thought it was hysterical that Simba was barking at them! Then we saw another woman on the boardwalk who wanted to pet Simba. She told him he was so beautiful and Simba loved the compliment.
Ok, you know how Jason spoils Simba? Well there is one aspect of Simba’s life that Jason is very neglectful with. Simba’s favorite TV show is Big Brother. Jason refuses to watch with Simba. Simba was so excited when I told him I was a month behind on the show, and he has a lot of episodes to watch with me this week!
Simba is now relaxing watching Big Brother, and making a mess with his toys during commercials. Tune in tomorrow for more Simba Sitting Shenanigans Take 6!
