Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! I am sad to report that this will be my last blog post for a while, as Jason has returned from vacation. Don’t worry, the blog will return when Jason goes away again!

Last night, Simba and I were both very tired and slept well. This morning, Simba once again tried licking my face. I told him not to worry, in a few hours his daddy would be home and he could lick his face as much as he wanted. But as for my face, I don’t like it and he needed to stop.

We enjoyed our morning walk and said our goodbyes before I went to work. I told Simba his daddy would be home soon but I would see him after work to get my things.

Simba was so excited when Jason came home that he peed on the floor! He did not know what to do with himself. I recorded Jason’s homecoming, and Simba was so excited to see Jason, but he was also excited to see me and kept running back and forth between the two of us. It was very adorable.

Simba was so happy to finally have a face he can lick. I am sorry I deprived Simba of that joy but I am also not sorry because I think it is disgusting!

Of course, Jason immediately gave Simba the presents he got for him while he was away. Don’t worry – these weren’t his Chanukah presents – that comes after candle lighting.

Simba has not had a bath or a haircut in a while because Jason is worried about the dog illness. Remember the bath that came while Jason was away? Well, one of the first things Jason did when he came home was give Simba a bath and a blowout! I have to say he did a pretty good job. Simba looks adorable as usual.

I told Simba I would miss him and he looked sad to see me go. But don’t worry, I told Simba I would see him again next week.
