Welcome back to Simba Sitting Shenanigans! Last night, Simba and I enjoyed our final night together. We cuddled on the couch while we watched tv. Then we went for a nice walk.

After our walk, I took in a package for Jason from the lobby. The package was soft and sounded like a dog toy. I said to Simba, “uh oh, this feels like a toy for you Simba! I don’t know why Daddy bought you another toy, you already have so many.” It has unfortunately been confirmed, that it was, in fact, another toy for Simba. But don’t worry, Jason gave him the toys he bought in Disney first and is waiting to give this one to Simba. 🙄 He will probably get it tomorrow…or later tonight…

Then, we decided to make it an early night and go to bed early. Simba was tired and fell asleep very quickly.

This morning, we woke up a little earlier than usual so we could have some cuddle time before I left for work. Simba loves cuddle time!

As usual, Simba ate his breakfast while I took my shower. Today, I forgot to text Jason before I went into the shower, but he didn’t text me frantically looking for an update about Simba. Actually, I almost sent out a search party for Jason because he wasn’t answering his phone! Don’t worry, he was ok, he just decided to sleep in on his last day of vacation.

After work, I came back to the apartment to clean up a little and pack up my stuff. I think Simba realized that I would be leaving. He seemed a little sad, but I told him not to worry because Daddy was coming home tonight.

We said our goodbyes and I headed out the door. I told Simba that his Daddy would be home very soon!

Jason came home and said he received the best welcome ever from Simba! They are both so happy to be reunited!

I am currently at the Mets game and it is bark in the park night. They had a segment called “Simba Cam” where everyone held up their dogs in the Simba pose. It really made me miss my roommate even more than I already did!
